Balineum is the Latin word for bathhouse.
We design and source elegant products for the bathroom (and tiled spaces beyond) from European suppliers of the highest quality.
Balineum was founded in 2007 by Sarah Watson, launching with a selection of shower curtains. Our collections have since expanded to include bathroom accessories, washstands, mirrors, lighting, hardware, and tiles.
Over the past 10 years, our handmade and hand-painted tiles have become the hallmark of our brand.
In 2023, Balineum purchased our Stoke-on-Trent tile maker to preserve the traditional skills of the crafts people they employ and secure the future of tube lined and hand cut tiles in Stoke-on-Trent.
Balineum’s clients are industry-leading interior designers and architects; we predominantly collaborate on high-end residential projects and are regularly featured in the top shelter magazines.
